What a way to start the week...

So here I am, sitting in front of my computer on a Monday morning, getting myself ready to begin editing another wedding film... and, let me tell you, as much as I love what I do, sometimes the hardest part of beginning work on a new project is "beginning work on a new project". So, imagine my surprise when, all of the sudden (as if on cue...), I receive the following email...

"Hi Lee!
We absolutely love the video! Our hopes were very high after seeing the amazing trailer that you put together and after seeing the full video it is clear that we made the right choice in having you as our videographer. The most incredible thing to me was that I didn't see you the entire time at the reception yet you still managed to capture some amazing images that perfectly highlighted the most important aspects of that day. If you remember, that was one of the first concerns I brought up to you when we first met - that I had been to weddings before where the videographer seemed to steal the "specialness" of the moment away from the couple via his/her incredibly bright lights on the dance floor. You told me not to worry about that and you were right because, like I said before, you were practically invisible the entire day. Your video had us running the gambit of emotions. The breathtakingly beautiful way that you captured our wedding ceremony had us near tears. The authentic and natural way you captured the reception events had us cracking up. Your video allowed us to completely relive the most important day in our lives and in doing so you brought incredible joy and happiness into our lives once again.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Josh & Leah"

Wow!! If I'm not motivated to start editing now, I don't know when I will be. Thanks Leah + Josh for asking me to be a part of your day - it was definitely an honor and I had an amazing time! Thanks also for the great email - even though it's only morning, you've made my day already! Here's another look at their trailer. It's definitely one of my faves... (stayed tuned, brand new trailers coming this week...!)
